Art that sees beyond the visible.
I am a visual artist who deeply focuses on ecosystems through images and installation processes. I draw from mine background in advertising, social and environmental responsibility, journalism, and activism to create works that explore the intricate connections between humanity and nature. Since 2001, after a long training period with photographer Walter Firmo, I began conducting expeditions to capture images of Brazilian biomes, such as the Cerrado, the Atlantic Forest, and the Amazon.
Based in Miami since 2016, I have been devoted my work to areas such as the mangroves and wetlands to create connections between landscape and community. I also continue to explore these Brazilian biomes. Inspired by the philosophy of deep ecology pioneered by Arne Näss, my art aims to raise awareness about deforestation and the fragile balance of ecosystems. I explore themes such as environmental degradation and motherhood to elaborate on non-obvious allegories of my family members.
Through collages that evoke moments of intimacy, dialogue, and simplicity, the images process humanity's interaction and reintegration with nature. By employing techniques like photo transfer, collage, and the integration of natural elements, I invite viewers to reflect on the symbolic relationships between people and biodiversity, using mine work as documentation and a poetic call for awareness.

Each image tells a story, about people, emotions, and the subtle poetry found in everyday life. My work blends fine art photography and visual experimentation, creating pieces that invite you to feel before you understand. Step into a gallery where light, texture, and identity meet.
